Today, we are proudly releasing Plastic Animation Paper 3.0 beta1 for Linux!
We invite everyone to give it a spin! PAP for Linux features the same functions as PAP for Windows, and the versions are fully compatible.

Just like the Windows editions, these demo versions are free to download and install. Demo versions of PAP:Broadcast and PAP:Film are fully functional, but saving is disabled until you purchase.

One major change from the Windows version is that PAP for Linux runs in "windowed mode". Alas, it doesn't change screen resolution. Also, there's full mouse support in all versions, although we do recommend a drawing tablet for any serious use.

For the entire beta testing period, we are also offering a MAJOR discount on Linux licenses for PAP:Broadcast and PAP:Film. The normal prices are EUR495 and EUR995, but during the beta testing period, we will offer them for

ONLY EUR249 for PAP:Broadcast (approx. USD 295)
ONLY EUR495 for PAP:Film (approx. USD 590)

These prices include full upgrade to the final 3.0 release as well as point upgrades from there (3.1, 3.2, etc.)

We encourage all users of the beta versions to report bugs to support@plasticanimationpaper.dk to help us find the last few bugs before the final release.
