[Update, new test version 3]

MacOS X INTEL users, please download here:

http://www.plasticanimationpaper.dk/files/PAP4.0_INTEL_TEST3.dmg

Important changes:

- You can now quit PAP by pressing Apple-Q and then typing Y
- Changing focus from window to window should work better
- Wacom pen update should be faster
- JPEG saving in PAP:Free should work correctly.
- PAP can now be run from the mounted image directly for your convenience

In fact, PAP:Free should be fully functional. We're not opening for purchases of PAP:Home and PAP:Pro yet though.

Known bugs/issues:
- The close/minimize buttons on the window don't work - still trying to work out why. If you're a Mac developer, please step forward. Smile
- The top bar menus disappear for some reason - again, ideas as to why this is happening are welcome, we will happily provide technical details.

You input is very much appreciated.

I did this initial test of the wacom drawing speed, still slow, lines appear to be SLow, But I think in general it seems more stable overall.

I have included an image to show what the lines look like when I draw fairly fast in a circular motion.

Also, the onion skin (Light table) doesn't appear to work at all.

Is there a way to transfer my home purchase to the mac version when it comes out? Or to at least unlock it in the meantime.? I have windows on my intel mac and have it on that .. .It would be easier to have it all on mac in the end... thanks...

Am I reading right, is PAP still in Beta for Mac?

It has been two Years now that we had to sit back and wait for upgrades because PAP was so busy working to get it running on Mac.
We all understood this dilemma and waited, and waited and waited again.
Up till now, February 2009 I can not find any changes nor in Win or Mac.

Unfortunately it looks like that oyonawa (bless him) was right when he wrote this thread in November 2006: http://plasticanimationpaper.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1776

What a shame for this beautiful pencil tool and other great characteristics but what good is a great pencil when other important faults should be fixed.

No, sorry. The development is on hold right now. We are in negotiations with a new developer who will move it on much faster.
