I'm a recent switcher with a cute macbook 2Ghz, Ram 1Go, wacom graphire4.
I'm working on a modern 2D arcade game (shoot-em-up) and I was looking for a good app to create and animate sprites, which is not so easy to find...
It seems PAP will be of a good help, I will have to read some documentation to see if it is able to manage alpha channel PNG.
I'm longing to give it a try
Bye,

OK can't wait for the mac release so installed Boot Camp on my Intel Mac Pro and XP Pro installed really well. I also downloaded the PC version of PAP and can tell you guys that it seems to run well.
I will spend some time now testing the functionality and report back.
Well at least I can try PAP while I am waiting for the Mac release.

I would love to test PAP, if for no other reason than to use the marking menu. Years ago, I used this type of interface with Alias/Wavefront, and have never seen better. If this choice is indicitive of the thought put into PAP, then this should be one humane program.
I use 2 Macs:
1.67MHz G4 Powerbook w/ 1GB RAM (32bit) running Tiger, with Wacom Intuos 3 tablet
Dual 450MHz G4 Desktop w/2GB RAM (32bit) running Panther, with tablet

Hi all,
i have a great ineterest in PAP. I would be very happy to help debugging such a software. I like the way you offer a free version.
I'm actually working on little animations for a humor website (not online yet )and i'm looking to macosX possibilities in that domain. I used to be a game debugger and i have skills in developpment.
I have two harwares for testing your beta :
-Imac G5 2 Ghz 20 ", 1Go ram
and
-Powerbook titanium, 1Ghz 15" , 512 ram.
thank you

I too would like to join your happy band and do a little testing.
I am getting ready to start Animation Mentor soon and figure what better time to jump on the band wagon. G5 with juice is my flavor of choice and even though I am a little punchie today I am very serious about animation. job4sserrianni@sbcglobal.net |

I received the e-mail from the site. I am running a Power Mac G5 10.3.9 because I am not into Tiger.Dual Processor with 1 Gig DDR SDRAM , Intros 2 Tablet . Also industry standard software Maya, Photoshop MX2004, Corel and a few other titles incase you wanted to see if files are compatible. I really would love to give your PAP beta a go so if you have any further questions, request, or instruction let me know.
Thank You
Steve

I am a student in SFSU's animation program and PAP has been recommended to me numerous times.
Unfortunately, the school computers are all Mac's and my personal at-home Mac flavor is a Dual 2.3 GHz Power PC G5, 512 MB RAM, OS X 10.4.8, Wacom Intuos 3.
I would be thrilled to be included in Beta testing and could certainly spread the word about PAP around San Francisco. |

| I would like to give the beta for the mac a spin. I own a Mac mini G4 1.4 ghz, running OS X 10.4 and 512mb RAM. It also got an Wacom Intuos 3 hooked-up to it. |

I enjoyed PAP very much on my PC before it died of technical problems to do with the screen and the wiring, and now own a Macbook Pro. I'd very much like to continue using this great little program on this machine, if it's not too late to ask to try it out.
The details for my computer are as follows:
Machine Name: MacBook Pro 15"
Machine Model: MacBookPro1,1
Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 2 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz |
